Younger Brother : Abdullah bint Umar. Born in Mekkah five years before the declaration of Prophet hood.
Married to Khaunais ibn Hudhafa (r.a).
2. Husband died as a Martyr at Guzwa e Hujar.
3. After her husband’s death, Umar R.A became worried about her, seeing Umar worrying Prophet extended his hand for the proposal and eventually got married in the second Hijri.
4. Jibraael came with Allah’s command and spoke in her favour that she would be your wife not only in this world but also in Jannah.
5. She was known for her devotion in prayer and fasting.
6. One hundred and sixty ahadeeth are reported from her.
7. From her family, seven people had participated in the Battle of Badar.
8. At her death she called Abdullah bint Umar and left a will that her property in Ghabbah should be given in charity.
9. On her last day also she was fasting.
10. She died in the Caliphate of Muawiyah in the year 45 AH. Marwan, Governor of Madinah offered her Funeral Prayers. She died at the age of sixty.

Among some young people it is common to hang up flags and symbols of some non-Muslim countries, and we see them buying and keeping these things, printing them on shirts, pants, belts, glasses, hats, shoes, rulers, pens, rings and watches, and putting them on car seat covers and window decals. Some of them buy the complete flag and put it on the hood or trunk of the car. What is the ruling on buying and selling, keeping and hanging up these flags?

Praise be to Allah.

One of the aims of Islamic sharia is that the Muslim should be distinct from all disbelievers and evildoers in terms of beliefs, attitudes, behaviour and thinking, and even in outward appearance and language too, and that he should cut off all ties of love, loyalty and support for anyone who disbelieves in Allah and His Messenger. There is a great deal of shar‘i evidence, both in the form of clear texts (of Qur’an and Sunnah) in the form of rulings derived from those texts, to support this basic Islamic principle, that warns lest one go

against it or take it lightly by way of aping and imitating those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day, and do not regard as prohibited that which Allah and His Messenger prohibited. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Then We have put you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) on a plain way of (Our) commandment (like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you (i.e. legal ways and laws of the Islamic Monotheism)). So follow you that (Islamic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not”

[al-Jaathiyah 45:18]

“Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) till you follow their religion. Say: “Verily, the Guidance of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) that is the (only) Guidance. And if you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him) were to follow their (Jews and Christians) desires after what you have received of Knowledge (i.e. the Quran), then you would have against Allah neither any Walee (protector or guardian) nor any helper”

[al-Baqarah 2:120]

“and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they turn you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) far away from some of that which Allah has sent down to you”

[al-Maa’idah 5:49]

“Has not the time come for the hearts of those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) to be affected by Allah’s Reminder (this Qur’an), and that which has been revealed of the truth, lest they become as those who received the Scripture (the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) before (i.e. Jews and Christians), and the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened? And many of them were Fasiqoon (rebellious, disobedient to Allah)”

[al-Hadeed 57:16].

The verses that speak of this matter are many and well-known. And the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, when he saw ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas wearing two garments dyed with safflower: “This is the clothing of the disbelievers, so do not wear it.” Narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh. It is proven in as-Saheehayn that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) went against the way of the People of the Book with regard to leaving the hair loose, and he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches.” Narrated in as-Saheehayn.

The hadiths and reports from the righteous early generation concerning this matter are many and well-known.

From the above it is known that a person cannot be following true Islamic teaching until his outward actions and inward beliefs are in accordance with the command of Allah and His Messenger. So his loyalty should be to Allah, His Messenger and his brothers in faith, as Allah, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning): “Verily, your Walee

(Protector or Helper) is Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, – those who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and they bow down (submit themselves with obedience to Allah in prayer)” [al-Maa’idah 5:55]. The believers are obliged to disavow disbelief and its people, whether they are Christians, Jews, Magians, atheists or followers of any other path or religion that is contrary to Islam.

In order to protect the basic principle mentioned above and to protect the Muslim and his Islam from deviation, the Islamic texts prohibit imitation of the disbelievers in matters that are unique to them, be that words, actions, clothes or general appearance, because that poses a danger to the belief of the Muslim, and lest it lead to him thinking well of the

disbelief and misguidance that they follow. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “I have been sent ahead of the Hour with the sword, until Allah alone is worshipped with no partner or associate; my provision has been placed beneath the shade of my spear, and humiliation and ignominy have been ordained for those who go against my commands; whoever imitates a people is one of them.” Narrated by Imam Ahmad and others with a jayyid isnaad. And he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “He is not one of us who imitates others; do not imitate the Jews or the Christians.” A hasan hadith; narrated by at-Tirmidhi and others.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said, explaining the Islamic wisdom behind the prohibition on imitating the disbelievers and the obligation to differ from them in outward matters such as dress and the like:

Allah sent Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with wisdom, namely his Sunnah which is the way and path that He prescribed for him. Part of this wisdom is that He prescribed for him words and deeds that made his way distinct from the way of those who earn His anger and those who go astray, and He enjoined him to differ from them in outward appearance and practices – even if many people cannot see anything wrong with that – for several reasons, including the following:

Dressing and acting like them will generate feelings of commonality between those who resemble one another, which may lead to some degree of similarity in attitude and deeds. This is something obvious, because the one who wears the garments of fighting soldiers, for example, will find himself starting to behave like them to some extent, and his attitude will be influenced by that, unless something prevents it.

Being different in dress and behaviour will lead to differences and disconnection, which will result in refraining from that which incurs divine wrath and leads to misguidance, and will lead to joining those who are guided and with whom Allah is pleased. Thus the decree of Allah will be fulfilled, that His friends, who are the successful ones, will be allies of one another and His enemies, who are the losers, will likewise be allies of one another.

The more a person’s heart is filled with living faith and knowledge of true Islam – I do not mean outward pretence or believing in general terms – the more he will feel distant, both outwardly and inwardly, from the Jews and Christians, and the further he will feel from their behaviour and attitudes that even some Muslims may have adopted.

Dressing and behaving like them outwardly leads to mixing with them, to the extent that the distinction is no longer there between those who are guided and with whom Allah is pleased, and those with whom Allah is angry and who have gone astray, and other reasons why we should be different

This has to do with behaving and dressing like them in ways that would otherwise be permissible, were it not for resembling them. But if it is the matter of behaving like them with regard to that which is part of their disbelief, then it is a branch of disbelief, and going along with them in that implies agreeing with one type of their sins. So this is something that one must be careful about. [End quote]

Based on the above, there is no doubt that one aspect of being allied with the disbelievers is imitating them and wearing clothes that bear their symbols, such as the cross and the like, being concerned with their pictures, supporting their sports teams, putting their flags on cars, houses and stores, using their names, calling people to love them and befriend them,

being proud of belonging to them and to their prominent figures and leaders, and being impressed by their whims and desires that are contrary to Islam. (The Muslims who do that) do not realise that by doing this, they are demolishing one of the basic principles of Islam in their hearts and in the hearts of the Muslims, and they are exacerbating the weakness of the ummah. Verily to Allah we belong and to Him is our return.

What all Muslims must do is adhere to the teachings of Islam and the straight path, and beware of deviating from that to the path of those with whom Allah is angry and those who are astray, namely the Jews, Christians and all other polytheists. The Muslims should encourage one another to be righteous and fear Allah, and to do everything that will bring goodness and glory to Islam and the Muslims; they should refrain from everything that may harm the Muslims or help their enemies against them, and they should refrain from

propagating and spreading such things.

And Allah is the source of strength; may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions. End quote.

Aayesha(R.A)18 saal ki then to Nabi kareemصلي الله عليه وسلم ka rooh qabz hoa. uss waqt bhi AAP صلي الله عليه وسلم Ayesha (R.A) ke goodh me sar rakh ke the.. AAP(R.A) ne 50 saal bewah ki zindagi guzari.

Aayesha(R.A) ne 2210 Ahadees riwayat kiye hain… jin me 286 hadeeth sahi bukhari wa muslim se hain.

Aayesha (R.A) ko ek aur sharf hasil hoa ke.. ek safar ke mauqe par AAP (R.A) ka gale ka haar toth gaya aur qafile ko wahin padao dalna pada waha pani nhi tha sab Suhabah (R.A) baht paresha hoye tab Tayammum karne ka hukm wahi ke zaraye Nazil hoa.

Aayesha(R.A) bahut saqee then jo kuch ghar me hota sab sadqah kar dete ek martaba 40 gulamon ko azad karaye. Iftar k liye bhi kuch na rakhte.. sirf khajoor aur pani se guzara karti then.

Aayesha(R.A) ki wafaat 17 Ramdaan 58 hijri 63 saal ki umr me hoi.. madinah jannat ul baqee me madfoon hain.

1. Ayesha(RA) was born after four years of Muhammad’s(PBUH) prophethood. She was the daughter of Umm Ruman(RA) and Abu Bakr(RA) and had a brother Abdur Rahman (RA).
2. The idea of Ayesha(RA)’s marriage with Muhammad (PBUH) was suggested by Khawmah bint Hakim. Prophet(PBUH) married her in Shawwal. She narrated that Prophet(PBUH) married her when she was 6 years old and stayed in her parent’s house until the age of 9 and consummated the marriage with her when she was 9 years. She was the only virgin wife of Prophet(PBUH).

3. Ayesha(RA) was the most beloved and favoured wife after Khadeejah(RA). She was only the wife with whom prophet(PBUH) received revelations. They used to eat in one plate and drink from the same glass. They even raced with each other and enjoyed one another’s company. Prophet(PBUH) related that when Ayesha(RA) was pleased with him she would swear “by the God of Muhammad (PBUH)” and when she was annoyed with him she would swear “by the God of Ibrahim (AS). To this she replied that I only leave your name from my toungue but you are always reciding in my heart.

4.Ayesha(RA) narrated that prophet(PBUH) told her that she was shown to him in a dream an angle brought her to him wrapped in a piece of silk cloth and said to him this is your wife. Prophet(PBUH) removed the piece of cloth from her face and it was her he said to himself of it is from Allah than it will surely be.

5. Ayesha(RA)’s house was small, walls made of mud roof made of date leaves and a blanket over it to prevent water dripping in the house. The roof could easily be touched by one’s hand. The door of her house was always open and a blanket would cover it. There inside of her house comprised of one mat, one table, one mattress, one ,pillow filled with dry date leaves, one or two pots to keep dates, one vessel to keep water and a glass to drink.
6. Ayesha(RA) was a lady of simple living but high thinking. It is noted that not even three

days continuous she had cooked food in her house in her lifetime. Whatever would be at home she would give in charity to poor and sahil. She mostly lived on water and dates. She was also honoured by the salaam from Jibrail(AS) and even seen him.
7. She used to do all her and Prophet(PBUH)’s work her own hands. In every matter she used to seek for the happiness and liking of Prophet(PBUH).

8. An incident happened in fifth hijri where she was accused of adultery (nauzoobillah) by the mushrik but Allah declared her innocence and revealed Ayyats in the Qur’an concerning her innocence and honouring her. This will be recited by every Muslim and in every masjid during prayers till the last day.

9. Her uniqueness is that Prophet(PBUH) died in her house on her day of term, in her arms and he was buried in her house. She was just 18 years old at that time.
10. Her father Abu Bakr(RA) became the first Khalifa to succeed Muhammad (PBUH) and after two years was succeeded by Umar(RA).

11. Ayesha(RA) lived in honour for 45 years after the death of Prophet(pbuh). Most of her time was spent in learning and acquiring knowledge of Qur’an and Sunnah. She is known as Umm al Muminin. She had narrated 2210 hadiths.

12. When Sahabas were confused about some matter of religion, they would consult her and would find solution from her knowledge and wisdom.
13. Ayesha(RA) died on 17th Ramadan at the age of 63 and her grave is in Madinah in Jannat ul Baqee.

14. The life of Ayesha(RA) is a proof that a women can be far more learned than men.
Her life is also a proof that a woman can provide inspiration and leadership.
Her life has also set an example for us that, how to be successful as a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, a teacher, etc.

15. May Allah guide us to follow her as an ideal Muslimah to be successful in this world and hereafter. Ameen.

Waqiya -“ifk” Ayesha raziAllahu tala anha p tohmatshazi(jo Munafiqon ne ki thi) ka waqiya, “waqiya-ifk” kahlata hai..ye waqiya gazwa e bani Mustaliq k waqt pesh aya. Is waqiye k baad Ayesha raziAllahu tala anha k haq me Allah sub’han wa tala ne “Surah-Noor” ki ayatein nazil ki. (Surah-Noor surah number 24, ayatein 11-19).

Isi gazwa bani mustaliq k waqt ek aur waqiya hua Tayyamum ka hukm nazil hua ye Tayyamum ki ayat Surah-Nisa-04 ayat number -43 nazil hui.

1. Safiya (r.a) was the daughter of Huyayy bin Aftab, who was the chief of the tribe of Banunazeer.

2. She was first married to Salam bin Mishkam and then second married to Kanana bin Abialhaqeeq. Kanana and her father was killed in the battle of Khaibar. Hence Safiya (r.a) was among the prisoners of war.

3. It is reported that the famous companion Wahia Kalbi(r.a) requested Prophet (pbuh) for a slave girl from the prisoners of the war. Prophet (pbuh) permitted him and he selected Safiya (r.a) but the other Sahabas requested Prophet (pbuh) to have Safiya (r.a) for himself as she was the daughter of the chief and from a royal background so Prophet (pbuh) told Wahiya (r.a) to choose other girl.

4. Prophet (pbuh) gave her to choose between being a Jew and return to her people or accept Islam and marry him. She was extremely happy, she embraced Islam.
5. She was extremely happy to marry Muhammad (pbuh). She was only 17 at that time. This marriage was celebrated at Al Sabha. The next day an ordinary and simple Walima was arranged.

6. She was very intelligent, beautiful and sympathetic. She loved the Prophet ( pbuh) with all her heart and soul.
7. When Prophet (pbuh) fell ill she said with extreme sorrow that she wished his illness could come to her.

8. She was a devoted believer and punctual in prayers. She used to spend much of her time in reciting Quran and used to weep while reciting.
9. Once she was taunted by Ayesha (r.a) and Hafsha(r.a) and started weeping on being a Jew. When inquired by Prophet (pbuh) she told him about them, Prophet (pbuh) told her to reply by saying that her chacha is Haroon (a.s) and she is from tribe of Musa (a.s).

0. Her maid servant once said to Umar (r.a) that she had a strong importance for Saturday and that she had not yet given her love for Jews. Umar (r.a) himself visited her and inquired about it. She explained by saying, I have not loved Saturday since Allah replaced it with Friday for me and I only maintain relations with those Jews who are my relatives. This satisfied Umar (r.a). On asking the maid as to why she complained she said that she was incited by Shaitaan. So Safiya(r.a) set her free.

11.Saifya (r.a) died in the year 50 hijra at the age of 60. She lived with prophet (pbuh) for nearly 4 years. She was buried in Jannatul Baqi.

1. Zainab( r.a) is one of the mothers of believers. Her father’s name was Khuzaimah bin Abdullah. She was known for her compassion and pity for the poor, thus gaining the title Umm Al Masaakin, mother of the poor.

2. There are conflicting reports about her first marriage but the closest Seerath refers to Zainab (r.a) first husband as Abdullah bin Jahash( r.a). He was one of the renowned Sahabah who was a martyr at the battle of Uhud.

3. After her husband’s death she got the honour to get married to Prophet (pbuh). Prophet approached her with a Mahar of 12 ounces of gold or 500 dirhams and offered her to marry, at that time she was 30years old.

4. After 3 months of marriage she passed away in the last days of Rabi ul Awwal. The only one of Prophet (pbuh) wives to do die before him, other than Khadeejah (r.a). She was buried in Jannatul Baqi and Prophet (pbuh) led her funeral prayers.
5. As a result of her early death less is known about her than any of Prophet(pbuh) other wives.

‘As Salaatil Jaamia’ah’ Namaaz Jamaa Karne Waali Hai. (Tumhei’n bulaarahi hai).

Suraj aur chand gehnaae jaane par Aap ghabra uthte aur namaz padhte, Asma r.a. bayan karti hain ke Aap ke zamaane mein (1 dafa) suraj grahan hua to Aap ghabra gae aur ghabrahat mein ahle khana mein se kisi ek kurta le liya. Baad mein chadar mubaarak Aap ko paho’nchai gai. Asma bhi masjid mein gaie’n aur aurato’n ki saf mein khadi ho gaei’n. Aap ne itna taweel qiyaam kiya ke inki niyyat baithne ki ho gai lekin inho’n ne idhar udhar apne se kamzor aurato’n ko khade dekha to wo bhi khadi rahei’n.

Jabir r.a. kahte hain Nabi e Akram ke zamaane mein 1 saqht garmi ke din suraj graham hua, Aap ѕαℓℓαℓℓαнυ αℓαyнє ωαѕαℓℓαм ne Sahaba Ikram ko sath le kar namaz padhi. Aap ne itna taweel qiyaam kiya ke log girne lage.

Asma r.a. khti hain ke Aap ѕαℓℓαℓℓαнυ αℓαyнє ωαѕαℓℓαм ne itna lamba qiyaam kiya ke mujhe (Aurato’n ki saf mein khade khade) ghash agayaa. Main ne baraabar mein apni mushk se paani le kar sar par daala.

Suraj Grahan Ki Namaz Ka Tareeqa:

Abdullah bin Abbas r.a. se riwayat hai ke Nabi e Rahmat ѕαℓℓαℓℓαнυ αℓαyнє ωαѕαℓℓαм ke zamaane mein suraj grahan hua. Aap ne baa-jamaat 2 rakat namaz padhi. Aap ne Surah Baqra tilaawat karne ki miqdaar ke qareeb lamba qiyaam kiya phir lamba ruku kiya. Phir sar utha kar

lamba qiyaam kiya (ruku ke baad qauma karne ki bajaae dobaara qira‐at shuroo kardena 1 hi rakat ka tasalsul hai lehaza is
mauqe par nae sire se Surah Faatiha nahi padhi jaaegi. Phir pahle ruku se kam lamba ruku kiya. Phir (qauma karke) 2 sajde kiey. Phir
khade hokar lamba qiyam kiya, phir 2 ruku kiye phir 2 sajde karke aur tashahud padh kar salaam phera, phir khutba diya, jis mein

Allah ki tareef aur sana bayan ki aur farmaya: ‘Suraj aur chand Allah ki nishaniyo’n mein se 2 nishaniya’n hain. Kisi ke marne ya
paida hone se inko grahn nahi lagta. Jab tum grahan dekho to Allah ka zikar karo. (Dauran e Namaz) main ne jannat dekhi,
agar main is mein se 1 angoor ka khosha le leta to tum rehti duniya tak is mein se khaate rehte aur main ne dozaqh (bhi) dekhi.

Is se badh kar haulnaak manzar main ne (kabhi) nahi dekha. (aur) main ne jahannam mein ziyada ta’adaad aurato’n ki dekhi. Arz
ki gai Ya Rasool Allah kya wajah hai (auratei’n ziyada jahannam mein kyou’n hain) Aap ne farmaya: Wo kufr karti hain. Arz Ki
gai kya Allah ka kufr karti hain?

Aap ne farmaya: ‘Wo khawind ki naashukri karti hain, agar tu 1 muddat tak inke sath acchai karta rahe phir inki marzi ke khilaf koi kaam kare to kahti hain ke maine tujh se kabhi bhalaai nahi dekhi.’

🔹Aap apne ghar aa gai. Us waqt aapke God me Apka dudh pita bacha tha. Abu Salma k ghar walo ne unse unka bacha chain liya..
🔹Shohar ki or bache ki judai me unki halat kharab ho gai.
🔹rozana wo ghar se nikal kar ek kile me jakar roti. Arse tak yahi kaifiyat thi. Aakhir unke khandan k ek shaks ne unko rota dekha. Un shaks k kehne par Aap ko Apka bacha Mil gaya or Madina janeki ijazat mili.

🔹Aap unt par akeli sawar hui. Tanha thi, sath koi nahi tha. “Kanyin” pahochi to “Usman bin talha” jo Abu Salma se ache ta’aluq the pehchan liya or sath madina rawana hue “Quba” tak aapke sath rahe..

🔹Aap kehti hai maine usman ko bahot taqwa or hayaa wala paya.
🔹aap Madina me apne Shohar k sath khushi se rehne lagi..

🔹Aapka ilm me koi jawab nahi tha.. Tabain ka giroh aapse ilm haasil karta tha.

1⃣5⃣ 63hijari 84 saal me aapki wafaat hui.. Abu hurairah (R. A) ne Namaz e janaza padhai or Jannatul Baqi me aapko Dafnaya gaya.

1. The Mother of the believers Umme Salma (ra)’s actual name was Hindh, her father was Abu Umayya and mother Atika binte Aamir.

2. Abu Umayya was well known for his generosity and compassion towards others. He used to spend alot upon his companions when he was on a journey with then thus was known as Zabur Rakeeb. She had inherited these good qualities from her father.

3. She was first married to Abdullah bin Abdul Assad(ra) who was known as Abu Salma. He was the cousin of Prophet(pbuh). They both had the privilege of accepting Islam at its very early stage. He was very brave and kind hearted. They had four children namely Salma, Umar, Durra and Zainab. She had a happy life with Abu Salma.
4. They had the honour to go to Habshah. When they came back from Habshah to Makkah they had a terrible time.

[10/03, 10:29 p.m.] Zahid Hussain: The full family was distorted and they had to go to Madinah because of the extreme oppression from the Mushrikeen.
5. She is the first lady to be honoured to migrate from Makkah to Madinah. She prepared herself to migrate but her family members opposed her so Abu Salma left her and went alone to Madinah. Adding to her grief the parents of Abu Salma snatched her child Umar also she was very much sad and used to beat alot alone for several months. Atlast the family members took pity on her condition and returned the child and even allowed her to go to Madinah.

6. She undertook the journey to Madinah all alone with the child on a camel. On the way Usman bin Talah(ra) saw her and helped her in a very courteous manner and accompanied her till Abu Salma’s house till Madinah.

7. In 2 hijri Abu Salma(ra) participated in battle of Badr, battle of Uhud and was badly injured. On 4th hijri he passed away. On hearing his death Prophet(pbuh) went to their house for condolence to her and saw her in grief and sorrow so Prophet (pbuh) said soothing words and advised her to be patient.

8. After her Iddat she got marriage proposals from Abu Bakr(ra) and Umar(ra) but did not accept any of the offers. Later when Prophet(pbuh) sent his proposal she agreed after elaborating her physical condition and drawbacks. She got married in the last days of Shawwal 4 Hijri.

9. She was brave, intelligent, pious and learned women. She accompanied Prophet(pbuh) in many battles. At the time of Sulayh Hudaibiyah she was with Prophet(pbuh). The conditions posture in it were not agreed upon by the Muslims and hence were unhappy. Prophet(pbuh) commanded sahabas to make sacrifice three times but due to grief no one stood up to agree him. Prophet(pbuh) was very worried about this and went to Umme Salma’s house

and told about his worries. She suggested and said “O, messenger of Allah it is too hard for them to accept the settlement since they desire victory, you should stand up and go out without telling them anything, then make sacrifice and shave your head. They will obey you and follow you Prophet(pbuh) accepted her suggestion and went and did so, seeing Prophet(pbuh) everyone obeyed him.

10. She was always eager to listen to Prophet’s (pbuh) words and for that purpose she would leave all her work half done like in one incident she was tieing her hair but left it half done when she heard prophet(pbuh) saying in a khudbah ‘ya aiyyu hannaas’.

11. She was very beautiful with long and thick hair. She was a very learned woman. Among all the wives of Prophet(pbuh), Umme Salma and Ayesha(ra) were the distinguished personality. The learned and scholar Sahabas used to come to her to tell their problems and would find solutions from her knowledge and wisdom. She even took classes of Tabayeen and taught them.
12. That was the kind of eagerness that put her among the reliable narrators. She had narrated 378 Hadeeths. All these Hadeeths were heard from Prophet(pbuh) as she loved hearing them.

13. Umme Salma read the Qur’an in the same style as the Prophet(pbuh) read and stuff that he would pause at every Ayyath.
14. She loved and respected Prophet(pbuh) to an extent that she set his slave girl Safina free so that she could do his work by herself her continuous effort was to obtain his satisfaction. She would like whatever Prophet(pbuh) liked and avoided whatever he disliked.
15. There is a conflict in her death date, but it is said that Umme Salma(ra) passed away in the year 59 hijri. Abu Huraira(ra) performed her janaaza namaz. At that time she was 84 years old. May Allah be pleased with her.

10. Allah tala ne wahi nazil farmai humne apka nikah aasmaan par kar diya.

11. Sayyedina zainab ne usi waqt sajde mei gir k Allah ka shukriya adaa kiya.

12. Aap S.A.W ne koi walima me itna ahtemam nahi kiya jitna zainab k isme kiya ek bakri zaba farmai logo dawate walima diya pet bhar k ghost aur roti khilaya.

If any servant (of Allah) who suffers a calamity says: “We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return; O Allah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it,” Allah will give him reward for affliction, and would give him something better than it in exchange.
She [Umm Salama] said: When Abu Salama [her husband] died. I uttered (these very words) as I was commanded (to do) by the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). So Allah gave me better in exchange than him. i. e. (I was taken as the wife of) the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). [Muslim]

عن ام سلمه رضي الله عنها قالت : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : « ما من عبد تصيبه مصيبة ، فيقول : إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون : اللهم أجرني في مصيبتي ، واخلف لي خيرا منها، إلا أجره الله تعالى في مصيبته وأخلف له خيرا منها . قالت : فلما توفي أبو سلمة ، قلت كما أمرني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فأخلف الله لي خيرا منه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم . رواه مسلم

Dua for one afflicted by a calamity-

إِنَّا لِلهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي ، وَاخْلُفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji‛oon, allaahumma’ jurnee fee muṣeebatee, wakhluf lee khayran minhaa

1. She is the mother of the believers. Zainab (r.a) was the daughter of Jahash and Ummaimah. Ummaimah was Abdul Muttalib’s daughter. Hence, in relation to Prophet(pbuh) she was the daughter of Prophets (pbuh) paternal aunt. Her brother was Abdullah.
2. She was among those who accepted Islam at early stages. She was inborn with good characters, she used to devote a great deal of her time to prayer and fasting.
3. Prophet(pbuh) wanted Zainab (r.a) to marry Zaid (r.a) who was his free slave and an adopted son. When she was informed about Prophets (pbuh) intention she and her brother straight away refused the proposal. But later she reluctantly accepted Prophets (pbuh)wish in response to the Ayath revealed on this issue.
“Its not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.” (30:36)
4. The purpose of Zaubab’s marriage to Zaid was therefore to destroy the racial discrimination and for the abolition of the racial segregation which was deeply rooted in the Arab culture at that time.
5. This marriage couldn’t continue for long as it was difficult for Zainab (r.a) to accept a free slave as her husband. When Zaid could no longer bear her, he went to the Prophet and complained about Zainab’s rude behaviour. The Prophet (pbuh) sincerely supported him to keep Zainab as she has accepted you, due to me. The complaint was made repeatedly, to which the answer was same and one fine day he came to Prophet(pbuh) and declared that he has divorced Zainab, to which the Prophet(pbuh) didnt reply as he knew this would happen as Allah’s will.
6. Later Prophet (pbuh) thought of marrying her to bring peace and tranquility to her heart so that she is calmed. But there was a phobia that the Munafik would taunt Prophet (pbuh) that he has married the wife of his adopted son.
7. Since adoption was a tradition and a trend of Pre Islamic culture which opposed the reality, marrying the divorced wife of one’s adopted son was regarded as a forbidden act since it was regarded as marrying the wife of one’s son, even though it wasn’t really one’s own blood son.
8. A revelation came from Allah (swt) to Prophet (pbuh) that he should marry Zainab (r.a) in order to destroy the false customs of giving the same status to the adopted children as to their own children. These events from beginning till the end are filled with laws and verses.
9. When Zainab(r.a) completed her iddat, Prophet (pbuh) sent her his proposal to marry her through Zaid. When he went to her he kept his back turned to her and gave her the Prophet (pbuh) message. Prophet (pbuh) deliberately sent Zaid with the proposal so that it becomes clear that Zaid also approves this marriage.
10. She said that she cant answer immediately and would first consult her Lord. She went to do Istikharah, at the same time Prophet (pbuh) received a revelation that the marriage has already been performed in the heavens of Allah. When this was informed to Zainab she immediately thanked Allah.
11. After this revelation Prophet (pbuh) entered her house and asked her name, she replied Barrah. Then he changed it to Zainab.
“As mentioned in Surah Ahzab Ayat 36, Zainab used to say very proudly that her marriage had been performed not like theirs, fancily on the earth but by Allah above in the heavens with Prophet (pbuh).
12. There is a conflict in which Hijri she got married to Prophet. Its said 3rd, 4th or 5th Hijri. She was 35 at that time of marriage.
13. On this occasion Prophet (pbuh) celebrated his Valima with enthusiasm. Allah even revealed the command of Hijab during this occasion.
14. Ayesha (r.a) reports that she had not seen such a woman like her who was so God-fearing, straight forward, peace maker and charitable.
She used to work with her own hand and with that what she earned she gave it for charity. She was a dedicated and devoted and supported the orphans and widows.
15. Once Prophet (pbuh) also said that among his co wives, she would meet him first who has the longest arms. All of them started measuring their arms. It was only when Zainab (r.a) died they realized what this meant. He meant the most generous person who only thought of others benefit and gave charity. It meant that she would meet Prophet in heaven before the others. She passed away before any of the other wives.
16. She died in 20th Hijri during the Caliphate of Umar(r.a) at the age of 53. She had already prep her Kafan for herself. Umar (r.a) led her funeral prayers and all her close relatives – Osamah bin Zaid, Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Jahash, Abdullah bin Talhah got down into her grave and lowered her gently into Jannatul Baqi.
17. On the morning of her death Ayesha(r.a) said today such a women has passed away who was inbuilt of good qualities, devoted in prayers and a support to the Orphans and widows. After her death she had left a house which was later taken under the boundaries of Masjid ul Nabvi.
She has narrated very few Hadith, around 11. She was a unique God fearing personality, used to devote a great deal of her time to prayer and fasting. She used to work with her own hand and spend all her earning on poor and needy people.
18. When Umar (r.a) sent her some money she was confused later when she came to know it was all for her she said Subhan Allah and kept all the money under a piece of cloth and asked the person who got the money to distribute the money, that how much ever they could grab in their fist to the poor and needy. The poors and distressed of the city broke into tears when they heard they have lost their benefactress.

1. Safiya (r.a) was the daughter of Huyayy bin Aftab, who was the chief of the tribe of Banunazeer.
2. She was first married to Salam bin Mishkam and then second married to Kanana bin Abialhaqeeq. Kanana and her father was killed in the battle of Khaibar. Hence Safiya (r.a) was among the prisoners of war.
3. It is reported that the famous companion Wahia Kalbi(r.a) requested Prophet (pbuh) for a slave girl from the prisoners of the war. Prophet (pbuh) permitted him and he selected Safiya (r.a) but the other Sahabas requested Prophet (pbuh) to have Safiya (r.a) for himself as she was the daughter of the chief and from a royal background so Prophet (pbuh) told Wahiya (r.a) to choose other girl.
4. Prophet (pbuh) gave her to choose between being a Jew and return to her people or accept Islam and marry him. She was extremely happy, she embraced Islam.
5. She was extremely happy to marry Muhammad (pbuh). She was only 17 at that time. This marriage was celebrated at Al Sabha. The next day an ordinary and simple Walima was arranged.
6. She was very intelligent, beautiful and sympathetic. She loved the Prophet ( pbuh) with all her heart and soul.
7. When Prophet (pbuh) fell ill she said with extreme sorrow that she wished his illness could come to her.
8. She was a devoted believer and punctual in prayers. She used to spend much of her time in reciting Quran and used to weep while reciting.
9. Once she was taunted by Ayesha (r.a) and Hafsha(r.a) and started weeping on being a Jew. When inquired by Prophet (pbuh) she told him about them, Prophet (pbuh) told her to reply by saying that her chacha is Haroon (a.s) and she is from tribe of Musa (a.s).
10. Her maid servant once said to Umar (r.a) that she had a strong importance for Saturday and that she had not yet given her love for Jews. Umar (r.a) himself visited her and inquired about it. She explained by saying, I have not loved Saturday since Allah replaced it with Friday for me and I only maintain relations with those Jews who are my relatives. This satisfied Umar (r.a). On asking the maid as to why she complained she said that she was incited by Shaitaan. So Safiya(r.a) set her free.
11.Saifya (r.a) died in the year 50 hijra at the age of 60. She lived with prophet (pbuh) for nearly 4 years. She was buried in Jannatul Baqi.

1 Umme habiba ra was also known as ramla bint abi sufyan (c 594-665)
2 she was the daughter of Abu sufyan ibn harb and safiyyah bint ibn al as
3 her first husband was ubayd allah ibn jahas
4 ubayad allah and Umme habiba ra was the first to accept Islam
5 in 616 in order to avoid hostility they both migrated to abyssinia where she gave birth to her daughter habibah
6 ubayd allah later converted to Christianity but Umme habiba was held on Islam
7 her first husband passed away in 627
8 prophet Muhammed saw send marriage proposal to her which arrived when she completed her idda
9 when she married prophet Muhammed saw he was 60 years old and she was 35 years old her marriage took place in 7 A.H (628)
10 Umme habiba died in the year 45A.H (664 or 665 C. E) during the caliphate of her brother muawiyah and she was buried in jannatul baqi with prophet Muhammed saw other wives
